School Council & Support Society

School Council

School council meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm. All parents are welcome.

Our school council is a collective association of volunteer representatives, including parents, teachers, principals, staff, community members and others, who work together to effectively support and enhance student learning. The 2021-22 Executive are:

  • Chair - Jared Thompson
  • Vice Chair - Carmen Siemens
  • Secretary - Jessica Rigney

Program Support Society (PSS)

The Program Support Society’s (PSS) mandate is to raise funds for school projects. Funds raised have been used for yearly field trips, enhancements to the school, and a variety of programming.  Some examples of our fundraisers include:

  • Craft Fair
  • Poinsettia Orders
  • Cash Calendar

Upcoming Fundraisers

The BACS PSS (Parent Support Society) Holiday Fundraiser has officially launched. We are excited to be participating once again in our Growing Smiles (Christmas Plants) and Mundare Sausage Fundraisers. We have had such a great success in the past years with this fundraiser that we know this will once again be a great success. This fundraiser contributes greatly to our kids, and we have been able to do amazing things in the past with the help of our BACS family's support! Click here for the fundraising package. A hard copy will be provided to each student.

We ask that you use the paper copies to collect the orders from family/friends/community members and then when you are ready to submit your orders (Deadline is November 16, 2021) that you enter the order online (Online Order Form) and send your payment (e-transfer is preferred) to BACSPSS@outlook.com. Further details/instructions can be found in the attached package.
